The Past & it's Influence
The past is a big heavy planet with lots of magnetic pull (probably Saturn in astrology)
When the past calls our name with it's subtle undertones to our everyday life, we are already caught up in it's spell. Because if the past didn't exist we wouldn't be able to exist right now in the present moment. As there would be no foundation or framework to exist within.
So life does its dance where what came before lingers for a time unknown to us usually. Until something happens to change up the story of course.
Change, the "Enemy" of the Past
The past isn't bad of course, it is what it is. You could have made a wonderful choice about someone to marry in the past or you could have done something to land yourself in prison.. Your choices literally form the foundation for your present moment in every single moment. Every choice is either changing some aspect of your life, or staying in the same rituals of the past. Not everything needs to be changed sometimes. But in some cases, we might decide as aspect of our life needs to change.
Foundations
We must strive to make sure our foundation is strong of course and make the right choices. However, there is a slight flaw with this perfectionist attitude of "get everything right the first time".
Being young, or even perhaps being old and unexperienced or uninitiated into certain experiences, creates a predicament. We must find out for ourselves before we can come to the conclusion of "get everything right the first time". Because generally someone who has made many mistakes and has discovered that truth for themselves said that statement.
If you don't move anywhere you will stay stagnant, thus no change or growth can happen. If you move you run the risk of making a major life "bad" decision that could provide hardship in the future. What do we do?
The Infinite Stream
There is a flow to life where if we let it, life will take us down pathways in which we need to go down and explore. Without this knowledge and exploration we are forever stuck in the rut of being too afraid to move to create any change. Thus, some people never break out of their comfort zones and choose to change.
We must take the leap of faith (educated and self aware of course) into the future.
How to take that leap...
For some it's a slow and long process, others a quick and often brash experience. Whatever experience is right for you is what will happen and you must trust in that. A higher purpose exists for us all, and it's up to us to realize it and become what we already are. To get our mind in line with our highest vision and ideal of life.
That is the True Leap of Faith
Everyone should come to the realization themselves. But ultimately until we become self aware enough after all the gears click into place, something in our life will not change. We must trust the process and have great patience knowing that the future of our vision will become manifest with enough perseverance. We will get through the tunnel to the other side. :)
